P’Nut Street Food is renowned for serving fresh, fragrant and authentic Thai street food, which attracts hordes Brisbane foodies every night of the week. Innovare Builders worked with the P’Nut team to transform their two latest restaurants into spaces that transport diners to the streets of Thailand in a matter of seconds.
Inspired by street dining in an Asian laneway, P’Nut Bulimba and Southbank are now light and enticing spaces. The front-of-house dining sections are characterised by bright colours and a floor-to-ceiling mural of a Thai streetscape.
These cultural references tie into ground artwork, hanging lanterns, feature neon-lighting and fixed timber banquet seating gives a traditional Thai look, which were handpicked to eliminate the need for on- going maintenance and complex cleaning processes. A carefully considered layout also ensures the seating arrangement effortlessly balances a street- side Thai dining experience with the comfort of a traditional Australian restaurant. Both commercial- grade kitchens host a selection of cutting-edge appliances that were installed for a seamless transition between tasks.
Our considered craftsmanship not only improves the efficiency and potential turnover of each site, but also provides the ideal tools and resources to navigate peak periods. Cool white lighting also adds a sense of space, while the industrial-standard cool rooms make everyday storage and organisation easier than ever.
P’Nut Street Noodles Southbank and Bulimba continue to grow in popularity, most commonly recognised for their unique fit outs and dining experience – a reputation Innovare Builders is proud to have helped create.
P’Nut is the brainchild of Chef P’Nut, who grew up working with his Grandmother in her popular street side stall in Thailand. After relocating to Australia, the self- confessed foodie set out to recreate the “true flavour safari that encompasses all five senses and gives you an immersive experience” that comes with Thai street dining.
With this vision in mind, Innovare Builders was tasked with the job of transforming two existing inner-city restaurants into authentic, welcoming and modern spaces. Our in-house team took the project from design to completion in under eight weeks, working with P’Nut to ensure our work had as little impact on the business as possible. While the unique experience of roadside eating was the vision throughout the entire project, the functionality of the design was just as important as the aesthetics.
From the front of house layout to the appliances used in the kitchens, our craftsmanship ensures the restaurant works intuitively around the needs of every staff member and customer. Our collaborative approach throughout the process ensured the project’s success and has seen a significant spike in the turnover and brand recognition of both sites.
